CQ CQ this is Justin....
My name is Larry and my call sign is W9AMR. I am located in South Bend, Indiana. That's my son Justin in the picture above. We primarily run AM in the recognized AM windows on most bands. On this page you learn a bit about me, my son, and my fellow Ham radio operators. Some of us love to build and restore vintage radio equipment. I am one of those Hams. This is my son Justin at the controls of one of our T-368's. Our call sign is W9AMR.
He likes to take over control of the radio station. He really loves to watch the meters move and to turn the knobs (some times while I am on the air!) Something tells me that he will be a ham radio operator someday. One of his first words was CQ CQ. As you can see he is not very mic shy.
We can be found on 160, 75 and 40 meters running AM phone. Hope to talk to you soon!
The transmitter you see in the above pictures is the famous B & W T-368. I am running it with the matching receiver, the R-390a. The one I have is made by Electronic Assistance Corp. There were several companies that built both pieces of equipment for the government. For more information about my T-368 transmitter see my T-368 transmitter page.
